What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are gel-like solutions that are injected into targeted areas of the face to contour, restore volume or enhance your natural features. Their primary ingredient is hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that keeps skin plump and hydrated.
Fillers can restore lost volume or add additional volume to remove shadows and enhance facial features. They also stimulate collagen and elastin production, encouraging your skin to retain its enhanced appearance even after your body has absorbed the filler.
Our professional team has expertly administered natural-looking dermal fillers to hundreds of satisfied clients. We’re proud to serve patients in Matthews, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Stallings, Monroe and the broader Charlotte area.

If you’re in good health and seeking to restore lost volume, reduce wrinkles or enhance your facial features, you may be a good candidate for fillers! Discover the various options we offer and what they can do for you.
Restylane
Restylane was the first hyaluronic acid filler approved by the FDA for cosmetic injections. For more than twenty years, it’s been a trusted brand around the world for natural-looking volume and contouring. Restylane’s skin-firming formulas are ideally suited to restore lost volume and build up areas such as the cheekbones. It’s also highly malleable and can be shaped into the look you choose.
Restylane (original formula)
The original formula of Restylane is designed to treat moderate-to-severe facial wrinkles and folds. It is injected into laugh lines, around the lips and into the cheeks. Depending on where it is administered, Restylane lasts for 6–18 months.
Restylane Refyne
Restylane Refyne is used to soften mild-to-moderate lines around the mouth, including nasolabial folds and marionette lines. It’s formulated specifically for natural-looking movements and expressions. Results can last for up to 12 months.
Restylane Defyne
Restylane Defyne targets deeper facial wrinkles and folds around the mouth, softening lines while still maintaining a natural look. Results can last for up to 12 months.
Restylane Lyft
Restylane Lyft corrects volume loss on the face and backs of the hands, treats moderate-to- severe facial folds and wrinkles, and can be used for cheek augmentation. It lasts up to 12 months in the cheeks and up to 6 months in other areas.
Restylane Silk
Restylane Silk is the first filler specially approved by the FDA to enhance lips and reduce lines around the mouth. Results typically last from 6–12 months.
Juvederm
Since 2006, Juvederm products have been used to minimize wrinkles and add volume with beautiful results. Unlike Restylane, Juvederm has a smooth formula that easily glides under the skin. This makes it better suited to be injected in those areas of the face that have wrinkles caused by muscle movement, such as around the mouth, and to fill out fine lines for a natural-looking effect.
Juvederm Ultra XC
Ultra XC is used to treat slight-to-moderate wrinkles and as a lip filler, it’s commonly used to treat parentheses lines, vertical lip lines (lipstick lines) and marionette lines. It lasts from 9–12 months.
Juvederm Ultra Plus XC
Ultra-Plus XC is of a thicker consistency than Ultra XC and is injected more deeply into the skin. It treats moderate-to-severe wrinkles, nasolabial folds and volume loss, and can be used for facial shaping and lip augmentation. Ultra-Plus XC lasts around 12 months.
Juvederm Volbella XC
Volbella XC was specially created for lip augmentation and to correct thin lines around the mouth. Its formulation allows for incredibly natural results. Volbella XC lasts for up to 12 months.
Juvederm Vollure XC
Vollure XC corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. It’s used primarily for older skin and can last up to 18 months.
Juvederm Voluma XC
Voluma XC lifts and contours the cheek area for a fuller, more youthful look. As an ultra–long-lasting filler, Voluma XC may last up to two years.
How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost?
The cost of your dermal filler depends on what product or products we administer and the total amount injected. For instance, on average, Juvederm products are more expensive than Restylane. During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your goals and work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your budget.

Dermal fillers FAQ
Are dermal fillers safe?
While dermal fillers are considered to be very safe, to achieve a natural, soft result with no unpleasant side effects, it’s vital to choose an experienced professional. Our doctors know exactly where to place each injection and how much product to use for a beautiful result, every time.
What is a dermal filler treatment session like?
Your first treatment will be booked a few weeks after your initial consultation, so you have time to make a final decision and prepare. During your appointment, one of our doctors will first apply a numbing cream to the areas of your face being targeted before proceeding with the injections. The entire process takes around 30 minutes.
Can fillers replace surgical procedures?
Fillers can’t necessarily create the same dramatic results as a facelift or other cosmetic surgeries. However, because fillers are considered much safer, involve little to no downtime and are fully reversible, more and more people choose to forego expensive, invasive surgeries in favor of dermal fillers.
Can the procedure be reversed?
Most people who receive dermal fillers are thrilled with the results. However, should you be unsatisfied with your new look, a skilled aestheticist can always reverse the effects of a filler by administering a second injection of hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid. Keep in mind, too, that the effects of fillers are always temporary.
